CENTRO, located in the heart of downtown
Bethesda, serves modernly influenced Italian cuisine. The restaurant
takes it culinary inspiration from the northern regions of Italy,
specializing in a variety of simply done yet elegantly presented dishes.
The menu is characterized by its diversity, anything from fresh seafood,
delicious veal chop, shrimp tempura and excellent cuts of meat grilled
to perfection. Patrons say the risotto is the best in town and all
the pastas are made in-house daily. The wine list is comprehensive
and includes selections from Italy, France and California and offers

The
restaurant itself, designed with straightforward and contemporary
grace, has high ceilings supported by rounded silver columns. The
light fixtures above the bar were hand-blown in Venice and the walls
are sponged in warm gold tones which are reminiscent of the Tuscan
grain fields. The delicious foods, the warm & beautifully inviting
ambience along with the impeccable service at CENTRO,
combine to provide an incomparably memorable dining experience!
